Job summary

Deliveroo is seeking a Business Development Manager to sign up new restaurant partners from Brighton and surrounding areas. You’ll travel across Greater London, engage with restaurant partners, and drive rapid onboarding and growth in a competitive market.

The role requires a valid driving licence and a car is preferred, with frequent fieldwork and relationship-building to accelerate Deliveroo’s growth in the region.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales and targeting new business is required.
• Able to negotiate and structure win-win deals for restaurants and Deliveroo.
• Understand the economics of food delivery for restaurants and Deliveroo.
• Demonstrate product and industry knowledge to clients.
• Take ownership and work toward demanding targets.
• Passion for all things food and restaurants.
• Tenacious and motivated to succeed.
• 1+ years of sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Map, prospect, pitch and close new restaurants across your region in a city-level, organised fashion.
• Communicate with restaurants via visits, emails, calls and social media to showcase Deliveroo technology.
• Oversee the restaurant onboarding process to be fast, efficient and seamless.
• Ensure restaurant success within the first eight weeks from signing.
• Sample food from a variety of high-quality establishments.
• Attend restaurant and food meet ups.
