Job summary

JBT Marel is recruiting an Area Sales Manager to lead sales of poultry processing solutions in the UK. You will be the frontline contact with customers, analyzing needs and presenting Marel’s high‑end solutions at exhibitions, demos, and in-person meetings.

You will work with Regional Directors, drive market plans, and push for growth while meeting customer requirements. Strong English, CRM, and MS Office skills are essential, with travel across the region expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering.
• 3 years’ experience in outside B2B sales of technical/mechanical systems, preferably with an international company.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Regional Sales Director, Account Managers, Distribution Partners, and Regional Sales Operations.
• Drive the sales of complex solutions; justify their value and help increase JBT Marel’s market share while meeting customer requirements.
• Support and train Account Managers within depth process knowledge.
• Be responsible for realizing sales (targets in volume and achieving the best possible price and market share for complex solutions).
• Maintain visit reports, opportunity registration and follow-up (CRM data).
• Collect information on competitors’ activities, installed base, requirements, and developments.
• Meet KPI goals with sales and margins.
• Travel within the assigned sales territory.
