Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking an Area Sales Manager in the United Kingdom to drive growth in poultry processing systems. You will be the primary customer contact, analyze needs, and propose Marel’s solutions at exhibitions, demos, and visits.

You’ll collaborate with regional teams, develop a market plan, and meet sales targets while maintaining data in the CRM and traveling within your region. Strong English and 3+ years B2B sales are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in outside business-to-business sales of technical/mechanical systems.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned sales territory.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Regional Sales Director, Account Managers, Distribution Partners and Sales Operations.
• Develop and implement a regional market plan to grow share of complex solutions.
• Drive sales, justify value, and achieve targets and margins.
• Support and train Account Managers with in-depth process knowledge.
• Maintain accurate opportunity data in the CRM and generate visit reports.
