Job summary

JBT Marel recruits an Area Sales Manager to drive sales of poultry processing systems across the assigned region. You will be the primary contact for customers, meet with them in person, at exhibitions or demos, analyze their needs and present Marel solutions to increase market share.

We seek a proactive, English-speaking professional with a business or engineering background and at least 3 years of B2B technical sales experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering.
• 3 years’ experience in outside B2B sales of technical/mechanical systems.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned sales territory.

Responsibilities

• Work in close collaboration with Regional Sales Director, Account Managers, Distribution Partners, and Regional Sales Operations.
• Drive the sales of complex solutions; justify their value and help increase Marel’s market share while meeting customer requirements.
• Be responsible for visit reports, opportunity registration and follow-up (CRM data).
• Meet KPI goals with sales and margins.
