Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking an Area Sales Manager to lead regional sales of poultry processing systems. You’ll be the main liaison to customers, meeting them at exhibitions, demos and in person to assess needs and present Marel solutions.

Qualifications

• 3 years of outside B2B sales of technical/mechanical systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
• Able to work in a multicultural, multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for customers within the region.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Director, Account Managers and partners.
• Drive sales of complex solutions and increase market share.
• Support and train account managers with product/process knowledge.
• Prepare visit reports and maintain CRM data.
• Meet KPI goals for sales and margins.
• Analyze customer needs and advise on improvements.
