Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive sales of poultry processing systems in the UK region, including Birmingham. You will interact with customers face-to-face at events and demos, understand their needs, and propose advanced Marel solutions.

The role requires 3 years of outside B2B sales of technical systems, strong English, and proficiency in CRM and MS Office. Travel within the territory is required for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering is required.
• 3 years’ outside B2B sales experience of technical/mechanical systems.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for customers in the region, building strong relationships.
• Drive sales of complex solutions and justify value to increase market share.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Director, Account Managers and partners.
• Support and train Account Managers with process knowledge.
• Maintain CRM data, visit reports and opportunity registrations.
