Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking an Area Sales Manager in the UK to lead sales of poultry processing solutions, interact with customers at events, and drive market share. You will collaborate with regional teams, analyze customer needs, and articulate value propositions for complex systems.

You will travel within the region, maintain CRM data, and train account managers while meeting revenue and margin targets. A business/engineering background and English fluency are required for this role.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering.
• 3 years’ experience in outside B2B sales of technical/mechanical systems, preferably with an international company.
• Skills in software such as a CRM system, Microsoft Office.
• Excellent skills in written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Work in close collaboration with Regional Sales Director, Account Managers, Distribution Partners, and Regional Sales Operations.
• Participate in establishing and implementing a structural industry market plan for a region.
• Drive the sales of complex solutions; justify their value and help increase JBT Marel’s market share while meeting customer requirements.
• Support and train Account Managers within depth process knowledge.
• Be responsible for realizing sales (targets in volume and achieving the best possible price and market share for complex solutions).
• Be responsible for visit reports, opportunity registration and follow-up (maintaining data in Company CRM systems).
• Collect information on competitors’ activities, installed base, requirements, and developments.
• Meet KPI (Key Performance Indicators) goals with sales and margins.
