Job summary

The Performance & Quality Officer (PQO) in the London Regional Performance & Quality Team will work with LDU clusters to understand performance, identify trends and develop practical improvements. The role goes beyond reporting, providing insight, coordination and oversight across London to strengthen delivery and service standards.

You will support service delivery quality improvement, manage performance plans, develop new initiatives, collaborate with operational colleagues and senior leaders,

Qualifications

• Demonstrate experience of performance management and problem solving with analytical, evaluative, outcome-focused techniques.
• Operational experience in a Probation setting.
• Experience with quality systems and implementing quality improvement initiatives.
• Technical requirements: NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in a relevant subject.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance for delivery of effective practices across LDU clusters.
• Demonstrate support for vision and strategies regarding quality improvement.
• Implement systems for reviewing and assessing effective practice within LDU clusters.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Monitor performance and analyse trends within LDU clusters.
• Write reports on contract performance and provide cost analysis when required.
• Support a performance and quality-focused organisation.
