Job summary

TVS SCS is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the regional control team at the Southwest Regional Service Centre. You will support the General Manager in delivering efficient service, maintaining profitability to EBITDA, and ensuring legal compliance.

In the absence of the General Manager you will assume leadership. You will manage Regional Controllers, drive performance, and collaborate with HR and payroll to ensure compliant operations, while pursuing continuous improvement across the

Qualifications

• Broad background in Logistics services, particularly Sameday courier and spare part supply chain environment.
• Understanding of health and safety best practice and legislation.
• Experience in managing and developing successful teams.
• Experience working with contractors and third parties aligned to KPI's and SLA's.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and implement standard procedural documents for daily operations.
• Direct line management of Regional Controllers at the Regional Service Centre.
• Review reports and adjust operations to meet company goals.
• Support profitability to EBITDA level and meet budget targets.
• Ensure operations meet SLA's and service targets.
• Implement continuous improvement programs for performance growth.
• Manage contingencies and mitigate risks to the business.
• Ensure local labour, HR and payroll compliance with UK laws.
