Job summary

Seetec Business Technology Centre is seeking an Operations Manager to lead high-performing teams and oversee employment and skills services across the South West. The role focuses on strategy, innovation, stakeholder engagement, and delivering outcomes for participants and communities.

This senior leadership position administers contract performance, budgets, and service quality, with travel across the region and a requirement for strong stakeholder management and digital capability in Microsoft

Qualifications

• Experience delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards.
• Senior operational management experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, Excel, Word).
• Full driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage employability and skills contracts across the region, with full accountability for performance, customer outcomes, and budget delivery.
• Drive achievement of contractual KPIs, service standards, and quality targets across all programmes.
• Provide strategic leadership and support to operational teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Develop and enhance operational delivery models to keep services effective and innovative.
• Build strong relationships with commissioners, employers, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with subcontractors to maximise performance and outcomes.
• Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Contribute to strategic planning and growth of Employment Services.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, safeguarding, and quality requirements.
• Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion across services.
