Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding UK is seeking a proactive sales professional to drive new Ocean Freight business and grow share of wallet with existing customers. You will qualify opportunities, design solutions and present proposals to customers, collaborating with station management to build a strong pipeline.

The role requires 2–3 years in freight sales or a related field, with excellent communication and a solid understanding of ocean and air freight.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–3 years in a competitive selling environment within shipping, freight forwarding or logistics (desirable) or strong operational/commercial background.

Responsibilities

• Find and close new business wins by identifying, qualifying, communicating and presenting solutions.
• Build rapport and design solutions, handling objections to win opportunities.
• Report activity and pipeline to stakeholders and maintain accurate records in Sales360.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Operations, Finance, and senior management to maximise opportunities.
• Ensure all interactions comply with DPDHL Code of Conduct and compliance requirements.
