Job summary

Europa is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to cover the UK, driving new Air & Sea freight business and expanding the client base. You will report to the Air & Sea Sales Manager and manage opportunities from lead to close across the region.

The ideal candidate has a proven B2B sales track record in freight forwarding, a hunter mentality, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in B2B sales within freight forwarding or logistics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, target-driven and resilient in a competitive environment.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify, target and secure new (Class A) Air & Sea freight customers to grow revenue.
• Lead generation, qualify and pursue high-potential leads relevant to Air & Sea services.
• Plan and execute sales activity through outbound calls, emails and meetings.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, leads and opportunities in CRM.
• Engage stakeholders to align on strategy, progress and opportunities.
• Develop deep knowledge of Air & Sea freight solutions and present value propositions.
• Meet and exceed new business gross profit and activity targets.
• Provide regular updates and market insights to management.
