Job summary

Talent Link invites applications for an HR Trainer based in the UK who will travel to regional sites, starting from the Walsall area. The role focuses on building a structured training framework for people managers, identifying capability gaps, and delivering training in performance, absence management, and employee relations.

You will coach managers on sensitive ER cases and difficult conversations, embedding consistent behaviours and standards across the business.

Qualifications

• Evidence of strong people management and training delivery skills.
• Proven ability to identify capability gaps and design targeted training.
• Knowledge of employment law and employee relations in the UK.
• Experience working across multi-site or project-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop a structured people management training framework aligned with company values and needs.
• Identify capability gaps in line management across the business.
• Design and deliver training on performance, absence, and employee relations.
• Coach managers on handling sensitive ER cases and difficult conversations.
• Embed consistent management behaviours, competencies and standards across sites.
• Deliver practical, scenario-based training relevant to an operational environment.
• Build strong relationships with managers and stakeholders across sites.
• Act as a trusted operational advisor balancing business needs with people risk.
