Job summary

Talent Link is seeking an HR Trainer to join our UK team in Walsall. The role requires travel across regional sites to deliver and embed people management training aligned with company values and operational needs.

You will identify capability gaps, design and deliver training on performance and absence management, employee relations, and ER case handling, coaching managers and balancing business needs with people risk.

Qualifications

• Confident communicator with the ability to influence and challenge appropriately.
• Proven experience in a senior HR operational role.
• Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations.
• Experience operating in a multi-site or operational environment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Desirable: previous experience in an operational or project-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop a structured people management training framework aligned with company values and operational needs.
• Identify capability gaps in line management across the business.
• Design and deliver training on performance management, absence management, and employee relations.
• Coach managers on handling sensitive ER cases, difficult conversations, and conflict resolution.
• Embed consistent management behaviours, competencies, and standards across the business.
• Deliver practical, scenario-based training relevant to an operational environment.
• Build strong relationships with managers and stakeholders across multiple sites.
• Act as a trusted operational advisor balancing business needs with people risk.
