Job summary

HSBC is seeking an experienced Regional Head, Corporate Coverage in the UK. The role focuses on leading a team to win and retain client relationships, driving sustainable income growth, and aligning with HSBC's strategic direction in corporate banking.

The position requires leadership that can coach and motivate a team, with strong risk management and regulatory compliance focus, and the ability to provide strategic advice to major clients across borders and currencies.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience with the ability to inspire, coach and performance manage a team.
• Experience providing strategic advice to customers and building long-term relationships.
• Comprehensive understanding of risk management and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support our team in winning new and retaining existing client relationships to maintain and generate income for HSBC.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to maintain the strategic direction of the business, the functionality and launch of new products and services.
• Grow the business in a sustainable, responsible and compliant manner, retaining and growing customer portfolios.
• Assist customers, aligning to HSBC's purpose of enabling growth and prosperity and helping people realise their ambitions.
• Drive growth by capitalising on new sales opportunities.
• Lead, develop, coach and motivate the team for success.
• Review the Sales process through to implementation and work with stakeholders to identify efficiencies.
• Experience in Commercial/Corporate banking environments and leadership to inspire a team.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills to share information clearly and concisely.
• Knowledge of risk management and regulatory processes.
• Experience providing strategic advice and building significant/complex business propositions.
