Job summary

HSBC is seeking an experienced Regional Head, Corporate Coverage to lead client relationships and strategic growth across our UK operations in Birmingham. You’ll drive growth, manage risk, and mentor a high-performing team while shaping the bank's corporate coverage strategy.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to win new business, maintain strong client portfolios, and ensure compliant, ethical execution of complex propositions for large corporate clients across sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate banking and leading teams.
• Strong strategic advisory and relationship-building skills.
• Deep understanding of risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Proven track record in developing significant business propositions with clients.
• Experience providing strategic advice to major customers.
• Familiarity with AI tools and ability to implement them in business processes.

Responsibilities

• Support our team in winning new and retaining existing client relationships to generate income for HSBC
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain strategic direction and launch of new products/services
• Grow the business in a sustainable, compliant manner with existing portfolios
• Lead, develop, coach and motivate the team for success
• Review the sales process from strategy to implementation and identify efficiencies
• Provide strategic advice to customers and manage high-value relationships
• Drive expansion opportunities and ensure ethical execution of complex propositions
