Job summary

Gap Personnel Limited is recruiting a Business Development Manager for aggregates and construction materials. Location is Midlands or South East with travel across target regions, and a salary of £60,000 plus performance bonus and benefits.

You will develop new business with major contractors and secure substantial supply contracts for construction and infrastructure projects. You will bring a strong understanding of aggregates or heavy construction materials, an established network, and the

Qualifications

Proven record of winning new business in aggregates, quarrying or heavy construction materials.
Established contractor/industry contacts in Midlands and/or South East.
Experience negotiating large supply contracts and building long-term relationships.

Responsibilities

Win new business with main contractors and authorities.
Build relationships with buyers, engineers, and specifiers early in projects.
Secure supply agreements and access purchasing frameworks.
Collaborate with transport to ensure profitable delivered pricing.
Develop a strong pipeline of major construction and infrastructure projects.
Hand contracts over to regional sales team while maintaining customer satisfaction.
