Job summary

Jobsworth Recruitment is seeking a commercially focused Business Development Manager to drive growth across its specialist construction divisions nationwide. You will build relationships with clients, win new opportunities and deliver profitable projects while meeting sales targets.

Reporting to the Pre-Construction Director, you will travel across the UK, carry out site surveys, present CPD sessions and work closely with internal teams to secure specifications and maximise margins.

Qualifications

• Previous Business Development Manager experience essential.
• Construction sales experience essential.
• Construction/building industry experience highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Strong commercial awareness, organisation and time management.
• Self-motivated with a proven ability to win new business.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willing to travel nationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a national business plan to achieve sales and margin targets.
• Manage existing clients and secure new business.
• Promote the company's products and services.
• Deliver sales and technical CPD presentations.
• Carry out site surveys and provide technical advice.
• Prepare project proposals and specifications.
• Work with Branch Managers, senior management and suppliers to maximise opportunities.
• Manage quotations, specifications and project communication.
• Liaise with Contract Managers throughout project delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitors and industry intelligence.
• Maintain excellent customer service and commercial standards.
