Job summary

CPM UK in Newport is looking for a Business Development Executive to represent Diageo brands in the off-trade retail sector. You will conduct face-to-face visits to supermarkets and multiples, building lasting relationships with store managers and driving in-store promotions across a broad territory.

You will use local market knowledge to optimise shelf space, report activity via a tablet, and pursue targets with support from comprehensive training and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Field sales experience in off-trade retail.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication.

Responsibilities

• Carry out face-to-face visits into off-trade retailers on your territory.
• Advise stakeholders on promotions and growing awareness of the product range to boost sales.
• Check stock levels and resolve potential issues using data provided.
• Ensure shelf space and displays are in place to maximise sales.
• Draw up bespoke business plans using local market knowledge and make recommendations to store managers.
• Report during and after each call on the tablet, sharing competitor information and your achievements.
