Job summary

CPM UK is recruiting a Business Development Executive in the Leicestershire region to represent Diageo brands in off-trade retail. You will visit retailers, promote the full Diageo portfolio, and drive activity to maximise shelf space and promotional opportunities.

Ideal candidates will be skilled at building relationships, analyzing in-store data, and delivering against targets while developing a strong local network. Training is provided, and a full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have full UK driving licence.
• Previous retail experience is ideal, but full training will be provided.
• Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to influence store managers.
• Commercially minded and able to analyze in-store data to achieve targets.

Responsibilities

• Carry out face-to-face visits into off-trade retailers on your territory.
• Advise key stakeholders on promotions and increasing awareness of the product range.
• Check stock levels and resolve potential problems using provided data.
• Ensure shelf space and displays maximise sales.
• Draw up bespoke business plans using local market knowledge and make recommendations to store managers.
• Report on each call on the tablet provided, sharing competitor information and achievements.
