Job summary

Severn Trent Plc is seeking a Regional Community Communications Officer on a 12-month fixed-term contract based at the Derby - Raynesway Office, with frequent regional travel and a 37-hour week, Monday to Friday.

You will engage with communities affected by our works, build positive relationships, and deliver tailored communications to customers, local businesses and councillors, helping deliver resilient services and environmental improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in communications, engagement, customer service, stakeholder management or a related discipline.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Confident using a range of computer systems and software (including but not limited to): Word, Excel, Asana/project management tool, Power BI.
• Ability to analyse information and identify risks and opportunities.
• Ability to influence and challenge constructively. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Customer-focused with a strong understanding of customer needs and expectations.
• Has a driving license and is willing to travel across the patch frequently.
