Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking an Operational Trainer to coordinate induction and development training across Wokingham, Reading, and Bracknell. The role involves home-based work with travel to multiple care homes and sites within the region.

You will deliver practical training, maintain training records, and contribute to staff development while supporting managers with personalised development plans. A relevant diploma and driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma level 3 in Health & Social Care (C&G 7300) or equivalent.
• 2 years of training experience in health/social care.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel.
• Experience coordinating induction and development training.
• Ability to plan and publish training calendars.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver induction and development training across the region.
• Provide practical, hands-on training across a variety of subjects.
• Plan and publish training calendars for the homes in the region.
• Maintain up-to-date employee training files and records.
• Attend meetings and conferences as required and promote learning opportunities.
• Work with Home Managers to implement individual personal development plans.
