Regional Care Operations Leader - Field-Based

Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Regional Support Manager to provide senior operational leadership across care homes. You will guide services through change, stabilise leadership teams and drive improvements in quality, safety and occupancy.

With strong regulatory knowledge and a collaborative approach, you will coach Home Managers, oversee budgets and work with regional and central teams to deliver measurable outcomes for residents, families and commissioners.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with a current NMC PIN or NVQ Level 4/5 in Health & Social Care.
• Registered Manager Award or Level 5 leadership qualification.
• Significant experience as a Home Manager or senior operational leader within adult social care.
• Demonstrable experience leading services through improvement, turnaround or operational transition.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (CQC, Care Inspectorate and/or CIW).
• Excellent leadership, coaching and people management skills.
• Experience managing budgets, occupancy and commercial performance.
• Understanding safeguarding, the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.

Responsibilities

• Lead care homes through change, improvement programmes and leadership transition to stabilise services.
• Stabilise services, strengthen leadership teams and deliver excellent resident outcomes.
• Oversee regulatory compliance, safeguarding and engagement with residents, families and partners.
• Manage budgets, occupancy and overall financial performance across allocated homes.
• Coach Home Managers and leadership teams to build operational capability and succession.
• Collaborate with Regional Directors and central teams to drive organisational change and continuous improvement.
• Travel across England, Scotland and Wales as required.
