Job summary

HC-One Ltd. is seeking an experienced Regional Administrator to shape operational excellence across a portfolio of care homes. You will train Home Administrators, ensure financial integrity and strengthen administrative processes while supporting Home Managers and central teams.

The role requires travel across the region and independent working across multiple sites. You will lead audits, foster governance and drive continuous improvement, maintaining high standards and enabling sustainable care

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior administrative role within a care home or health and social care environment.
• Experience of resident billing, purchase ledger, payroll administration, petty cash management, cash handling and financial controls.
• Experience coaching, mentoring or training colleagues to build capability and promote consistent administrative standards.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to carry out financial compliance audits, identify risks and produce clear, practical recommendations.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across a portfolio of homes.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and care home administration or finance systems.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the region.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist administrative support across a defined portfolio of homes.
• Train and develop Home Administrators, provide operational cover during periods of absence, carry out financial compliance audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and controls.
• Work closely with Home Managers, Area Directors and central support teams to build administrative capability.
