Job summary

HC-One Ltd. is seeking a Regional Support Manager to lead care homes through change, stabilise services and deliver lasting improvements.

This field-based role covers England, Scotland and Wales, with regular travel and a 37.5-hour week designed to support homes through leadership transitions and improvement programmes. You will work closely with Regional Directors and Home Managers to ensure safe, high-quality, person-centred care, embed strong governance, coach leadership teams, manage budgets

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN.
• Experience as Home Manager or senior operational leader in adult social care.
• Knowledge of CQC, Care Inspectorate or CIW regulations.
• Proven ability to lead services through improvement or turnaround.
• Strong communication, leadership and people management skills.
• Experience managing budgets, occupancy and commercial performance.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on operational leadership to care homes during vacancies, improvement programmes, or regulatory interventions.
• Develop structured improvement plans and work with leadership teams to implement sustainable solutions.
• Coach Home Managers and strengthen operational capability across multiple homes.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain high-quality, resident-centred care.
• Oversee governance, safeguarding and stakeholder engagement.
