Job summary

HC-One Limited is recruiting a Regional Support Manager to provide hands-on leadership to care homes during periods of leadership vacancies, improvement programmes and regulatory change. You will stabilise services, drive quality, strengthen leadership teams and deliver outcomes for residents, families and staff.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a current NMC PIN or NVQ Level 4/5 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care.
• Registered Manager Award or Leadership & Management Level 5 qualification, or willingness to achieve.
• Significant experience as a Home Manager or senior operational leader within adult social care.
• Demonstrable experience leading services through improvement, turnaround or operational transition.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (CQC, Care Inspectorate and/or CIW).
• Excellent leadership, coaching and people management skills.
• Experience managing budgets, occupancy and commercial performance.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge incl. Mental Capacity Act and DoLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership to care homes during vacancies, improvement programmes, regulatory interventions or transitions.
• Assume operational accountability for allocated homes to ensure safe, high-quality, resident-centred care and measurable improvements.
• Lead regulatory compliance, safeguard resident wellbeing, and manage occupancy and financial performance.
• Coach Home Managers and leadership teams; embed systems and processes for long-term success.
• Register as Home Manager with the regulator when required and provide leadership cover.
• Collaborate with Regional Directors, Area Directors and central support teams to drive regional improvements.
