Job summary

Key Selection Recruitment Limited is assisting in recruiting a Business Development Manager for a leading encoder and CNC controls supplier. The role covers Midlands, North UK and Scotland, with home-based work and a regional office near Sheffield.

You will identify OEMs in heavy duty encoders, linear and torque motors, and motion systems, build long-term relationships, maintain CRM, and report quarterly. A base salary of £50k plus bonus and a company car is negotiable.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of selling similar products into energy sectors (oil & gas, subsea, steel, mining).
• Based within commuting distance of the Sheffield regional office.
• Education to minimum HNC in Electronics, Mechanical or Controls Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop new OEM customers across Midlands, North UK & Scotland.
• Maintain existing customers and deliver technical encoder sales.
• Identify OEMs, end users and sales channels for encoder products.
• Develop new OEMs liaising with design and procurement teams.
• Develop existing OEMs with new products/applications.
• Maintain CRM, perform market analysis and quarterly reporting.
• Attend head office sales meetings in the South East and Europe trainings.
