Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Regional Business Development Manager to drive new business in the automation and industrial controls sector across the South West. This remote role combines home-based work with site visits to customers, selling PLCs, HMIs, drives and motor control systems.

You’ll own your patch, manage the full sales cycle and benefit from uncapped bonuses, a company car, progression opportunities and full autonomy in a growing, well-established company.

Qualifications

• Proven business development background in technical sales.
• Experience selling industrial controls, PLCs, automation or related electrical control products.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Field based sales role covering the South West.
• New business development through cold calling, site visits and self-generated lead creation.
• Selling industrial controls and automation products (PLCs, HMIs, drives, motor control systems).
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm with uncapped annual bonus.

Are you from a technical sales, or business development background, within an automation/industrial controls industry, looking for a fully autonomous role with a leading company where you can progress your career and significantly increase earnings through uncapped bonuses?

This specialist company are going from strength to strength and have doubled turnover in recent years. Due to their continued success, they are looking for a strong new business focused salesperson to take over the patch and continue building on their presence.

In this remote role, you will split your time between working from home and visiting customers on the road, generating new leads through cold calling and site visits, nurturing opportunities and closing deals. You will sell a range of technical control products, including PLCs, HMIs, drives, motor control systems and industrial automation components.

This role would suit someone with a proven business development background in technical sales, who wants autonomy, huge earning potential through an uncapped bonus, and the chance to progress your career in a long-term stable role.
