Job summary

Equans is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to lead BMS digital service delivery and contract management across sites in Northern England. Based from Didsbury, Manchester, you will oversee 15–20 engineers and subcontractors, ensuring SLA performance and growth with P&L responsibility of £1m–£3m.

You will apply strong commercial acumen, coordinate with PMO, and uphold safety and compliance standards while pursuing new contracts and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree level education, or qualified and experienced trade (electrotechnical).
• Experience managing self-delivered and subcontracted BMS services at scale.
• P&L responsibility and track record of delivering contracts in financial terms.

Responsibilities

• Digital service provision across all sites in portfolio.
• Day-to-day management of BMS service engineers and subcontractors (15–20 people).
• Regular contract reviews with customers and senior clients; upsell where possible.
• Manage KPIs, SLAs, and compliance with safety and financial standards.
• Travel to sites for service reviews and team meetings.
