Job summary

Equans UK & Ireland, based in Leeds, seeks a Regional Operations Manager with a strong BMS background to lead digital service delivery across hospitals, schools, and government sites in Northern England. You will manage a multidisciplinary team, optimise performance against SLAs, and drive growth opportunities while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role combines technical BMS expertise with commercial oversight, P&L responsibility, and stakeholder engagement to deliver high-quality service

Qualifications

• Degree level education or equivalent
• Evidence of relevant, demonstrable work experience at a similar level
• Must be able to obtain and retain SC/CTC clearance
• Experience managing self-delivered and subcontracted BMS services at scale
• Thorough knowledge of BMS systems and HVAC/M&E

Responsibilities

• Oversee digital service provision across all sites in the portfolio
• Manage BMS Service Engineers and subcontractors (~15–20 people)
• Hold regular contract reviews with customers and senior clients
• Drive profitability and service quality in line with SLAs and KPIs
• Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and contract standards
• Engage stakeholders and coordinate with PMO; maintain strong client focus
