Job summary

EQUANS is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to lead BMS and digital services across sites in Northern England. Based from our Newcastle office, you will coordinate a multi-disciplinary team, ensure SLAs, and drive growth with strong commercial acumen.

You will manage engineers, subcontractors, and PMO collaboration, while maintaining quality standards and safety across hospitals, schools, and government buildings.

Qualifications

• Degree level education or qualified/equipped trade with relevant BMS experience.
• Experience managing self-delivered and subcontracted BMS services at scale.
• Ability to obtain SC/CTC clearance.
• Strong knowledge of BMS systems and HVAC/M&E.
• Proven track record of delivering contracts and managing KPIs; commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Oversee digital service provision across all sites in portfolio.
• Manage 15–20 BMS Service Engineers and Service Partners.
• Manage specialist subcontractors and contract reviews with customers.
• Maintain SLAs and review KPIs; ensure financial performance (P&L).
• Travel to sites for service reviews and safety visits.
• Ensure training and operation quality standards; compliance with safety and budgets.
