Job summary

Worldpay is seeking a Regional Business Development Manager to lead self-generated sales in a dynamic UK market. You will drive new business, build a strong local network, and manage relationships from initial contact to close.

You’ll work with a global payments leader, selling face-to-face POS and ecomm solutions to SMEs, while contributing to strategy, onboarding and cross-selling opportunities. Strong drive and C-level engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in targeted B2B field sales (Merchant Sales Experience Essential).
• Comfortable selling up to C-level.
• Excellent consultative approach, solution selling, negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast paced, evolving environment.
• Genuine self-starter who contributes to team performance.

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets aligned to company objectives.
• Develop monthly strategy and business plan to attract new business and extend market share.
• Generate new business and proactively manage a pipeline of self-generated leads using Salesforce.
• Build professional relationships across the local business network and attend events.
• Build and maintain a network of introducers to drive referrals.
• Sell multiple products to new SME customers within a defined territory.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and drive revenue growth.
• Collaborate with customer service to resolve queries and ensure seamless service.
• Provide feedback on local trends and market needs.
