Job summary

Worldpay (UK) Limited is seeking an ambitious field sales professional to drive new business with SME customers across our UK territory. You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, targeting mid-market organisations and C-level stakeholders.

You will develop monthly sales strategies, manage a proactive pipeline in Salesforce, build relationships through events and referrals, and collaborate with customer service to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.

Qualifications

• A full driving license.
• Proven experience in targeted B2B field sales (Merchant Sales Experience Essential).
• Comfortable selling up to C-level.
• Excellent consultative approach, solution selling, negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to operate effectively with high energy and flexibility in a fast paced, evolving environment.
• Genuine self-starter with minimal oversight and team contribution.
• Experience in the mid-market segment.

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets aligned to company objectives.
• Develop monthly strategy and business plan for new ideas to attract business.
• Generate new business and manage pipeline of self-generated leads using Sales Force.
• Build relationships across local business network; attend events and join forums.
• Sell products to SME customers with a defined territory and cross-sell opportunities.
• Collaborate with customer service to resolve queries and ensure seamless service.
• Provide feedback on local trends, competitor insights, and product/marketing needs.
