Job summary

CCS Cleaning Services in Northern Ireland seeks an Area Manager to oversee cleaning operations across multiple sites, including Derry, Letterkenny, Craigavon, Strabane and Omagh. You will lead site supervisors and operatives, ensure service quality, and coordinate client communications.

The role focuses on planning, staff coordination, health and safety compliance, and ongoing improvement, with travel within the region and occasional visits to other regions as required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Full Category B driving licence with willingness to travel within the region.
• Experience in a leadership role (team leader or supervisor).
• Strong customer service, communication, and organisational skills.
• Basic knowledge of Word and Excel; willing to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Client communication with on-site representatives to ensure service quality.
• Lead a small team of Supervisors and Cleaning Operatives.
• Manage timekeeping, onboarding, supply orders, and site administration tasks.
• Provide induction training and ongoing support to team members.
• Support planning and execution of operations in collaboration with the management team.
• Monitor health, safety and quality standards through site visits.
