Job summary

Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen GmbH, a world market leader in energy technology, seeks an Area Sales Manager in Telford, UK, to secure and expand regional customer relationships. You will present technical information, train customers and agents, support quotations, and coordinate regional sales activities.

You will maintain close cooperation with our global sales organization in Germany and elsewhere while traveling across designated countries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of sales experience, ideally in power transmission and distribution.
• Strong stakeholder relationships and confident communication at all levels.
• Proficient in value-based selling: identifying challenges and articulating value/benefits.
• Independent, reliable, and ownership mindset; willing to travel.
• Strong English language skills; MS Office proficiency; SAP and Salesforce knowledge are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Secure and expand local and regional customer relationships and business activities through prospecting, networking and visits.
• Present technical product information and conduct trainings for customers, agents and internal colleagues.
• Support quotation preparation and ensure structured project and quotation tracking through follow-up.
• Monitor and coordinate complaint management for designated countries with internal departments.
• Plan, organize and execute customer sales events in the region.
• Prepare reports such as visit reports, market insights and sales forecasts in collaboration with international sales teams.
