Job summary

Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions is seeking an Area Sales Manager to join our commercial sales team, covering Yorkshire & Humber. You will develop and grow relationships with distribution partners and contractors, implementing profitable sales plans to improve market share and product mix across the region.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales within construction, building materials or distribution.
• Strong commercial acumen, including negotiation and margin management.
• Proactive approach with ability to spot opportunities and问 effective questioning.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with distribution and contractor stakeholders.
• Confident tracking live projects and pipeline opportunities to identify where products can be specified and supplied.
• Comfortable working under pressure with multiple priorities across a regional customer base.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage, service and grow opportunities across the regional distribution and contractor customer base.
• Track live construction projects within the region, identifying opportunities to influence specification and secure supply.
• Support and negotiate commercial agreements in line with regional and national strategies.
• Regularly visit distribution partners and contractors to build, maintain and grow long-term partnerships.
• Act as the key point of contact between distribution clients, contractors, internal sales teams and wider stakeholders.
• Drive market share, product mix and visibility of British Gypsum and Isover within your region.
