GCS Associates is seeking a Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager to drive new business and manage key accounts in the construction materials sector. This external field sales role covers the area between Manchester and Morecambe, selling to contractors, developers and house builders.

You will combine a proactive sales drive with strong relationship building, targeting growth across branches and customers, while delivering a high level of service and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience selling into contractors, developers and house builders.
• Strong sales drive and ability to build long-lasting relationships.
• Experience in construction supplies / builders merchants sector.

Responsibilities

• Sell building products to contractors, developers and house builders.
• Develop new business and manage an existing ledger.
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
