Job summary

Stirling Warrington is seeking an Area Sales Executive (trainee) or Area Sales Manager to cover the Midlands, including Coventry, Birmingham, and Northampton. The role offers a £38,000–£50,000 salary band, plus a company car, and bonus opportunities for high performance.

You will develop and manage a loyal customer base for heavy-side building materials, supporting merchants and contractors, and driving revenue growth in your patch.

Qualifications

• External sales experience from a manufacturer or distributor of building materials.
• Commercially savvy sales professional with target-driven mindset.
• A driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers in your area and support their customers with enquiries.
• Manage your patch to maximise sales from all customers.
• Identify new opportunities and grow revenue with merchant partners.
• Bring projects to sell through your merchant network and contractors.
• Travel within the Midlands with a focus on Coventry, Birmingham and Northampton.

Are you motivated to take your sales experience into an external sales role? Or are you already working as an area salesperson looking to work for an established brand?

Our client sells heavy side products through the independent merchant sector, national merchants and buying groups.

The role of Area Sales Manager will focus on building relationships with all customers in your area, supporting them with enquiries and support for their customers.

You will manage your area, maximising sales from all customers and identifying areas to increase sales.

Going to the contractor and bringing projects to sell through your merchant partners is a huge part of this role
