Job summary

Aligra Bristol is seeking a Class 2 HGV refuse driver to join a small, friendly team. You will operate a Class 2 vehicle on weekday shifts, collecting plastics, cardboard, glass and household waste while delivering safe, reliable service.

You must hold a valid Class 2 licence with a clean driving record, be available Monday to Friday 07:00–15:30, and be prepared for outdoor work in varying weather. Training and progression opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 HGV refuse vehicle in line with regulations
• Collect plastics, cardboard, glass, and household waste efficiently
• Assist loaders to ensure daily collection targets are met
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and basic maintenance
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors
• Deliver excellent customer service as a representative of the company
