Daval Associates currently seeks a Class 2 Refuse Driver for Leicester. You will operate a refuse vehicle across residential routes with a Tuesday-to-Friday pattern, enjoying a 4-day workweek and a guaranteed number of hours.

The role offers a £1,000 joining bonus with staged payouts after 6 and 12 weeks, plus biweekly incentives. Weekly pay is every Friday, and a dedicated account manager provides 24/7 support to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle.
• Work with loaders to complete daily collection routes.
• Ensure bins are emptied and returned to designated locations.
• Complete scheduled collections and assist with missed bins.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report defects.
• Follow health and safety and operational procedures.

Deval Associates are recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a busy waste and recycling operation in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified drivers looking for stable, ongoing work with guaranteed hours and excellent work-life balance.

The Role

As a Class 2 Refuse Driver, you will operate a refuse collection vehicle while working as part of a team to provide domestic waste collections across residential areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle
• Work alongside loaders to complete daily collection routes
• Ensure bins are emptied and returned safely to designated locations
• Complete all scheduled collections and assist with missed bins where required
• Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects
• Follow all health and safety, road traffic and operational procedures

Requirements

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to work outdoors
• Previous waste and recycling experience is beneficial but not essential
