Leeds Women’s Aid is seeking a Refuge Night Worker (Female*) on a maternity cover basis to support residents in our refuge and handle out‑of‑hours contact for the LDVS. This role requires empathy, strong listening skills, and the ability to work in a multi‑agency environment.

The successful candidate will manage telephone support, provide guidance to victim‑survivors, and work independently during night shifts while safeguarding and promoting wellbeing. Apply by the closing date.

Qualifications

• Experience of telephone based and/or customer service advice or support work.
• Great listening skills are essential.
• The ability to work under pressure in stressful or difficult situations.
• Able to work within an operational multi agency environment.
• Able to lone work

Responsabilités

• Be the first point of contact for out‑of‑hours callers and residents.
• Provide compassionate and supportive guidance to victim-survivors and families.
