Refuge Night Worker – Maternity Cover (Leeds)

Leeds Women’s Aid (LWA) is seeking a compassionate Refuge Night Worker to join the out-of-hours team in Leeds. This maternity cover is 12 months, part-time Monday to Wednesday, 30 hours per week, with a salary of £21,840 per year plus a night premium of 50p per hour.

You will support victims of domestic violence and abuse, work within a multi‑agency environment, and contribute to a safe, supportive refuge service. An enhanced DBS is required.

Qualifikationen

• Understanding the impact of domestic violence on victim survivors, children and families.
• Experience of telephone-based and/or customer service advice or support work.
• Ability to work under pressure in stressful or difficult situations.
• Great listening skills and ability to work within an operational multi-agency environment.
