Job summary

Refuge is seeking a part-time Refuge Worker to join our Derby City team on-site. 18.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with days to be discussed. Salary £13,172.67 per annum.

You will provide high-quality practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic violence and their children living in our refuges, including safety planning and helping women access housing, welfare, benefits and legal advice. This role requires participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota.

• Include safety planning and enabling access to housing, welfare, benefits and legal advice.
• Provide personal welfare support to ensure a safe, welcoming environment in line with Refuge principles.
• Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota.
