Job summary

BDS Recruitment are recruiting an organised and experienced Referral Coordinator to join a supported housing service from either their Tolvaddon or St Austell office. The role focuses on supporting people fleeing domestic abuse with complex support needs and requires strong coordination with partner agencies.

You will coordinate referrals, gather information, assess needs and risks, and share relevant details with the team to ensure safe and appropriate placements.

Qualifications

• Experience in referrals, supported housing, homelessness, domestic abuse, housing, social care or safeguarding.
• Previous experience in a coordination, referral, housing or support-based role.
• Understanding of risk assessment and safeguarding.

The main focus of this role is working with people fleeing domestic abuse who may have complex support needs.

You will be responsible for coordinating referrals into the service, working closely with professionals, partner agencies and the wider support team to ensure people are assessed and supported appropriately.

About you

• You will ideally have experience in referrals, supported housing, homelessness, domestic abuse, housing, social care, safeguarding or community services.
• Previous experience in a coordination, referral, housing or support-based role.
• An understanding of risk assessment and safeguarding.

Location; Able to work from either Tolvaddon or St Austell office with home working also

Hours; Monday- Friday 9am- 5pm

Pay Rate; £15.34ph PAYE- £19.90ph UMB

This is a temp ongoing role to start ASAP!

You MUST hold an enhanced DBS covering Child and Adult Workforce on the update service or issued within the past 12 months.
