Job description

Recovery Worker

Location: Lincoln

Salary: A£23,810 pro rata per annum

Hours: 22.5 hours per week

You're caring, flexible, and creative. You thrive under pressure, know how to connect with people at all levels, and genuinely enjoy helping others live as independently as possible. Join Waythrough's White Gables as a Recovery Worker.

White Gables is a 24-hour crisis service supporting individuals experiencing a mental health crisis, working within a recovery model. We offer support services such as outreach, peer support, and supported housing for people with mental health issues in the community. We serve residents aged 18 and above and have been operating locally for several years.

We believe recovery varies for each individual. With the right support at the right time, recovery is possible. Your role will involve helping and inspiring service users to maintain their tenancy and independence. You will work with them to develop personal support plans to achieve their goals, whether developing domestic and financial skills or accessing work, leisure, or educational opportunities. You will have ample opportunity to excel in this role.

No relevant experience is required as full training will be provided. However, candidates with an understanding of mental health issues or lived experience are welcome. More importantly, you should be caring, compassionate, empathetic, enthusiastic, and eager to help others. You must be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, willing to participate in a weekly rota, and available for on-call duties.

This role offers excellent benefits, training, and development opportunities.
