Location: Based in our Grantham Hub.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership, a vibrant new partnership delivering substance use treatment and recovery services across Lincolnshire from April 2024. Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership is delivered in partnership between Turning Point, Framework, and Double Impact. The partnership combines Turning Point’s national experience as an outstanding substance use provider, Double Impact’s expertise in lived experience and recovery, and Framework’s support for service users with complex issues.

Our ‘Recovery First’ model underpins everything at Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership, with lived experience recovery fully integrated and visible throughout. Lincolnshire’s residents will benefit from the highly integrated and localized approach of the partnership, supporting various issues across all parts of Lincolnshire.

As a Recovery Worker, we offer a starting salary of £25,116, rising annually in line with our pay progression salary bands, up to £29,383 per year. (Dependent on experience, you may be offered a starting salary above the initial figure).

Role Responsibilities

Recovery workers act as ‘key workers’ for a caseload of service users, supporting them to set treatment goals and develop plans to achieve these. The role includes maintaining regular contact with clients, offering advice, information, psycho-social interventions, conducting assessments, risk management planning, and collaborating with clinical staff, prescribing teams, and partner agencies. Effective communication with service users and colleagues, task management, and commitment to Turning Point values are essential. Candidates with lived experience of substance use, mental health, or homelessness (self or a significant other), or experience supporting people in health and social care, are encouraged to apply. We value all backgrounds and experiences.

The Ideal Candidate

You will have an understanding of substance and alcohol use and the challenges faced during recovery. Transferable skills from mental health, housing, or other health and social care backgrounds are also valued. Flexibility, the ability to work dynamically both one-on-one and in groups, and knowledge of relapse and recovery barriers are important. Excellent communication skills and shared organizational values are essential. Our Trainee Recovery Worker program provides opportunities for those without all relevant experience to enter the organization and develop their skills.
