Job summary

Belmont Recruitment is seeking a Recovery Coordinator in Lancaster to support individuals with addiction recovery. You will manage caseloads, create personalized plans, and work within a supportive team to guide clients toward healthier, more independent lives.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage keyworking caseloads and design practical, person-centered recovery plans.
  • Support OST clients, track treatment engagement and compliance.
  • Provide harm reduction interventions and overdose awareness training.
  • Conduct BBV and Hepatitis C testing and facilitate transitions to clinical care.
  • Deliver structured alcohol therapy sessions and coping techniques.
  • Collaborate with local health networks and community services.

Job description

Recovery Coordinator - Drug and Alcohol Support

Location: Lancaster

Pay: £20.00 - £23.00 p/h (depending on experience)

Contract: 3-6 months (with a good chance of extension)

We're hiring a thoughtful and organized Recovery Coordinator for a supportive team in Lancaster. You'll help individuals work through addiction and guide them toward healthier, more independent lifestyles.

What you'll do:
  • Manage keyworking caseloads and design practical, person-centered recovery plans.
  • Support individuals on Opiate Substitution Therapy (OST), tracking treatment engagement and compliance.
  • Provide critical harm reduction interventions and overdose awareness training.
  • Conduct Blood Borne Virus (BBV) and Hepatitis C testing, ensuring seamless transitions into clinical treatment for those affected.
  • Deliver structured alcohol therapy sessions and psychological coping techniques.
  • Partner with local health networks and community services.
What you need:
  • Experience in the sector, a calm and empathetic manner, enhanced DBS, and UK Right to Work.
