Job summary

Belmont Recruitment in Carlisle is seeking a Recovery Coordinator for the Drug and Alcohol Service. You will manage caseloads, coordinate with clinical prescribers for OST, and deliver harm reduction guidance to reduce drug-related risks.

You will also perform BBV checks and Hepatitis C testing to support local health initiatives, and provide individual alcohol therapies with relapse prevention planning, working closely with local health and social care services.

Qualifications

• Background in support work or similar sector.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Right to Work in the UK required.

Recovery Coordinator - Drug and Alcohol Service

Location: Carlise, Cumbria

Pay: £20.00 - £23.00 p/h (depending on experience)

Contract: 3-6 months (with extension options)

What you'll do:

• Oversee Opiate Substitution Therapy (OST) coordination alongside clinical prescribers.
• Deliver robust harm reduction guidance to minimize drug-related risks.
• Perform Blood Borne Virus (BBV) checks and targeted Hepatitis C testing to support local health initiatives.
• Provide individual alcohol therapies and structured relapse prevention planning.
• Work directly with local health and social care services.
