Job summary

Belmont Recruitment seeks a Recovery Coordinator to join a fast-paced Substance Misuse Service in Blackpool. The role involves building supportive relationships, managing risk, and guiding clients toward long-term stability.

You will coordinate OST pathways with clinicians, educate service users on harm reduction and Naloxone, and lead BBV screening with a focus on Hepatitis C treatment linkage, alongside alcohol therapies and psychosocial support.

Qualifications

  • Background in substance misuse or related support work.
  • Enhanced DBS is required.
  • Right to Work.

Recovery Coordinator - Substance Misuse Service

Location: Blackpool

Pay: £20.00 - £23.00 p/h (depending on experience)

Contract: 3-6 months (with extension opportunities)

Looking for a role by the coast? We're seeking a reliable Recovery Coordinator to join a fast-paced service in Blackpool, helping clients navigate complex challenges and work towards long-term stability.

What you'll do:
  • Build supportive relationships and manage risk assessments for a dedicated caseload.
  • Coordinate Opiate Substitution Therapy (OST) pathways, working hand-in-hand with prescribing clinicians.
  • Educate service users on harm reduction, safe usage practices, and Naloxone availability.
  • Facilitate Blood Borne Virus (BBV) screening, with a heavy emphasis on Hepatitis C testing and treatment linkage.
  • Implement evidence-based alcohol therapies and structured psychosocial support.
  • Coordinate multi-agency care plans to address wider social needs.
What you need:

Background in substance misuse or related support work, an enhanced DBS, and Right to Work.
