Job summary

Belmont Recruitment is seeking an experienced Recovery Coordinator to join a Drug and Alcohol Service in Preston. You will manage caseloads and develop recovery plans, coordinating OST reviews and script management.

Deliver frontline harm reduction advice, BBV assessments, and Hepatitis C testing. Collaborate with local statutory and voluntary groups to ensure seamless, person-centred care for service users.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in recovery support or similar roles.
  • Enhanced DBS (fundamental)
  • UK Right to Work required.

  • Support clients undergoing OST, managing reviews and script coordination.
  • Deliver frontline harm reduction advice and practical tools to minimize drug and alcohol-related harms.

  • Deliver specialized alcohol therapies, coping strategies, and relapse prevention tools.

Recovery Coordinator - Drug and Alcohol Service

Location: Preston

Pay: £20.00 - £23.00 p/h (depending on experience)

Contract: 3-6 months (with strong extension potential)

We need an experienced Recovery Coordinator to join our service in Preston. If you're a good listener who can keep a cool head under pressure, this is a great contract to sink your teeth into.

What you'll do:
  • Oversee client caseloads and create actionable, goal-oriented recovery plans.
  • Support clients undergoing Opiate Substitution Therapy (OST), managing reviews and script coordination.
  • Deliver frontline harm reduction advice and practical tools to minimize drug and alcohol-related harms.
  • Perform Blood Borne Virus (BBV) assessments and Hepatitis C testing, ensuring positive cases are swiftly linked into treatment pathways.
  • Deliver specialized alcohol therapies, coping strategies, and relapse prevention tools.
  • Work closely with local statutory and voluntary groups for comprehensive care.
What you need:

Relevant support or recovery experience, valid enhanced DBS, and UK Right to Work.
